Discover how to communicate your story and the hope of Jesus through a talk, testimony or spoken word
A one-day workshop livestreamed from Oak Hill College to local hubs across the UK, equipping women to share Jesus through talks, testimonies and creative evangelism.
You don’t need to be an experienced speaker. You don’t need to have already been asked to share at an event. You simply need a desire to make Jesus known and a willingness to learn.

Why this matters
The need
Over the past few years, Christmas evangelistic events have welcomed increasing numbers of guests, creating a growing need for women who can share the hope of Jesus with confidence and clarity. Many women have a desire to share the gospel but lack the confidence, experience, or opportunity to step forward.
Why women matter
From the cradle to the empty tomb, women were among the first witnesses to the good news of Jesus - and their voices still matter today.
Across our churches are women who would love to say yes but feel unqualified or wait for someone else to be asked. At Passion for Evangelism, we want to identify and equip these women so that, like those at Jesus’ tomb who were “afraid but also filled with great joy” (Matthew 28:8), they can confidently proclaim the message they have been given.
Finding Your Voice will be hosted at Oak Hill College in London and livestreamed to local hubs around the UK. Each hub will bring women together to watch the training, take part in discussions, and receive encouragement and feedback as they develop their own evangelistic talk, testimony or Spoken Word.
Could this be you?
Finding Your Voice is for women who:
feel a desire to share Jesus but don't know where to begin
have a story, testimony or message they want to communicate
would love to speak or share a spoken word at a Christmas event but lack confidence
want encouragement, training and practical tools
Maybe you have always thought, “Someone else should do this.” Finding Your Voice is an opportunity to discover that God can use your story, your gifts and your voice to make Jesus known.
Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith
*You do not need to have been asked to speak this Christmas.
What you’ll experience
Ahead of the workshop, guests will receive a pre-conference training video to help prepare for the day.
The programme (10am-4pm) will include three keynote training sessions from our guest speakers, alongside inspiring testimonies, creative evangelism ideas, and a live Q&A. Guests will have the opportunity to learn, be encouraged, and explore practical ways to share the Gospel.
After lunch, small feedback groups will provide space for guests to share their own talk, testimony, or spoken word and receive encouragement as they develop their voice.
What you’ll leave with
have developed your own evangelistic talk, testimony or spoken word
have practised sharing it
receive encouragement and feedback
grow in confidence to use your voice for Jesus
inspired by a community of women sharing Jesus in their context

Debbie Hillman
Having spent most of her working life as an RE teacher, Debbie's time is now mostly divided between working in the local church and adoring her very new grandchildren - but always with a passion to encourage women in every area of church life and mission.
-

Beverley Hinton
Beverley has always had a passion for supporting women. She works as a Birth and Postnatal doula and Lactation Consultant. Her job involves empowering women to make informed decisions about how they birth and feed their babies, and making sure their voice is heard during the important period of transition that motherhood brings. After attending last year's Find Your Voice conference, she began to think more about how the skills she uses in this role could be utilised to encourage herself, and support other women to find their voice and talk about Jesus.

Sarah Burbridge
One of those people who came to Sheffield as a student and never left! Many in this city have spoken to me of Jesus and convinced me time and again to keep on trusting Him. I love to do the same for others. I work for the Diocesan Ministry Experience scheme and help at church with youth bible studies, so I have a front row seat in watching young people grow in knowing Jesus.

Lorna Bradley
Lorna lives in Nottingham, attending Rylands Community Church. She would say she didn't expect to find herself using words publicly to speak of Jesus but Passion for Life has given her the encouragement to give it a go. In Jesus there is freedom to take a risk. She has also encouraged others to share content and has enjoyed seeing the different styles and contexts in which good news has been proclaimed.
